Continuous roll marking
The marking is achieved by a number of revolutions of the marking roll. The marking roll (Typ 40) is bound to a certain work piece diameter.
Application:
- Marking roll bound to a certain work piece diameter
- Marking roll usually designed for one work piece only
- The driving knurl can be removed with further processing after the marking operation (e.g. cutting off)
Characteristics:
- Marking achieved by a number of revolutions of the marking roll
- Continuous contact of the marking roll during the marking process until tool retraction
Handling:
- Precise concentricity required
- No deviation in work piece diameter possible
